Job description:
- Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training arrangements.
- Follow the prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols.
- Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
- Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as instructed by the Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
- Maintain client confidentiality.
- Collaborate with treatment team including client, parents and caregivers, outside professionals, Lead Behavioral Technician, ABA Interns, and co-workers.
- Maintain and acquire technical knowledge by attending required trainings. relationships with clients, co-workers, supervisors, and community members.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- High school or equivalent (Required)
- Experience with kids with special needs: 1 Year (Required)
- Applied behavior analysis (ABA): 1 year (Preferred)

Responsibilities
- You’ll help children with autism develop essential skills in communication, social interaction, play, and daily living skills

- Adventure Guide: Implement direct one-on-one ABA therapy sessions to individuals with autism spectrum disorder under the guidance of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Utilize strong problem-solving skills to manage challenging behaviors and work towards improving client’s social and communication skills, as well as their independence
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with team members and family to ensure effective implementation of behavior intervention plans
- Collect and record data on client’s progress and behaviors, utilizing information to inform & adjust treatment plans
- Maintain professionalism and a commitment to providing high-quality services, while remaining eager to learn and grow
- Ensure a safe and supportive learning environment for clients by adhering to all safety protocols and procedures
